The class of 2005-2006 has collected and compiled data on the bromeliads growing at the Canopy Walk Way in Myakka River State Park. All of the monitored bromeliads were Tillandsia fasciculata (including one that was impersonating a Tillandsia utriculata!) and located around the walkway, with one exception.

Unfortunately, there are no pictures of these dedicated scientists to include with their data, or pictures of the bromeliads they monitored. However, there is the intriguing picture shown to the left, taken by Caleb (Team 2). What a fine, inquisitive eye he had to spot this juvenile Hemipteran - one of the "true bugs".

Many thanks to the class of 2005-2006!
