To the Pine View Weevil Watchers of 2003-2004: Greetings to a most wonderful group of scientists! I would like to thank each and every one of you for the splendid work you did in Myakka River State Park this past year! The data you've collected will be of invaluable help in our effort to save the bromeliads. Miss Maughan sent me a copy of the news piece we did with Cynthia Smoot - you all looked great! Thank you for participating in that event! The news story was very important in letting other people in Florida know about the plight of the bromeliads. Over the summer, I will continue to work with getting your data up on the Web, so please check it out at a later time. Also, if you notice any weevil infestations on bromeliads around your house, or at a park, or near your school, or wherever you may be, please drop me a line and let me know about it. Congratulations for making it through another year of school! I hope you continue to find such enjoyment in learning! Cheers!
